In 2006, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand will become the longest reigning monarch in the World when he and all Thais will celebrate his diamond jubilee. Furthermore, in 2007 the entire Thai nation will join in celebrating the Thai King’s 80th birthday. His Majesty the King has become the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history, as well as in today’s world.
To celebrate his diamond jubilee, the Amateur MUAYTHAI Association of Thailand (AMTAT) which is under royal patronage under the umbrella of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA), the oldest and most recognized Amateur Muaythai Body in the world, and the World MUAYTHAI Council will host the extraordinary “Muaythai World Championships, Muaythai Expo, and the 1st ever Muaythai Aerobic Competition 2006”. This special event will be held on May 30th to June 8th, 2006, which will end on the day prior to His Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration Day. The IFMA proudly presents our Championships and Expo, which are dated within the main celebrations, to many royalties and government officials from around the world who shall visit the Kingdom of Thailand.
