The Discover Scuba Diving course lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in real diving conditions. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and then head off and experience an open water adventure. This course is designed for those who want to try diving prior to taking a course or for those who don't have the time to do a course but still wish to experience the underwater world. The course is conducted over one day, the first dive starts in shallow ocean water where you will learn some basic skills to enhance your enjoyment before going on a supervised dive with a PADI instructor.
After lunch you'll go off for a pleasure dive, no skills to learn this time, and get to share the sea with such creatures as turtles, eels, nocturnal completely harmless sharks and of course thousands of fish. The maximum depth for this course is 12 meters. As soon as you Discover Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills used in the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications. You will find an extremely confusing array of prices for these courses. Some look inexpensive, however the inclusions and where you’re training takes place determines price. All dives are done under direct supervision of a PADI professional.
